Grant has been an electricity fan since a kid - starting with model railways and moving on to university playing with big 3 phase machine sets through to GaAs chip design.

EVs have always seemed far more logical to him but just didn’t exist in the mainstream until recently. His last “good” ICE vehicle was a victim of the January 2020 hailstorm and, after attending the national EV expo in Canberra in August 2022, and being taken for rides by AEVA members, he was convinced the time of the EV had finally arrived. He just had to wait for an EV that ticked his stringent boxes.

One finally launched in October 2023 and was ordered two weeks later, delivered in late January 2024 and he hasn’t been happier! He enjoys spreading the EV message to his thousands of Uber riders who are curious.
